Kind of a Big Dill LLC ("Kind of a Big Dill," "we," "us") operates Corner IQ — the web app at trackengineer.kindofabigdill.com and this marketing site at corneriq.kindofabigdill.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your options are.
What we collect
Account information
Creating an account (used for the Rider Pro tier and event leaderboards) requires an email address and password, handled by our database provider, Supabase. If you set a display name, it's shown to other racers on any club or event leaderboard you join — nowhere else.
Telemetry files
RaceBox and AiM Solo CSV files you import are parsed entirely in your browser. We do not upload your raw telemetry files to our servers. Session history and stats are cached on your device (browser local storage) so they're there next time you open the app.
Corner notes
Notes you log on the track map save to your device by default. If you're signed in, they also sync to our database so they follow you across devices — that's the whole reason an account exists for this feature.
Event and leaderboard data
If you redeem a club or event code, the session results you submit (lap times, top speed, G-force, consistency) are stored against your account and shown on that event's leaderboard to other participants and the organizing club.
Clubs
Creating or joining a club stores your display name and role (Owner, Admin, or Member) against that club, visible to its other members on the roster. Practice sessions you submit to a club's leaderboard (best lap, top speed, peak G, and the track) are stored the same way and shown to that club's members. Leaving a club or asking us to delete your account removes this data.
Email signups
If you sign up on this marketing site for product updates, we store your email address alone — no name, no tracking. Only Kind of a Big Dill can read that list; it's never sold or shared.
Payment information
Purchases go through Shopify. Kind of a Big Dill never sees or stores your full card number — Shopify handles that as a PCI-compliant payment processor. See Shopify's privacy policy for how they handle checkout data.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-free, privacy-friendly analytics tool that reports aggregate traffic (like page views and referrers) without tracking you individually across sites.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. We use a small set of service providers to run Corner IQ:
- Supabase — database and account authentication
- Shopify — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
- Google Fonts — web font delivery
Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy terms.
Your choices
- Telemetry never leaves your device unless you tell us otherwise — there's nothing to delete on our end for that data.
- Want your account, corner notes, or email signup deleted? Email bigdillengineering@gmail.com and we'll remove it.
- You can stop syncing corner notes at any time by signing out — local notes stay on your device.
Children
Corner IQ isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be called out on the app or this site.
